Wolf Creek Red Buck is a striking, solid and heavy built son of Two Eyed Red Buck. He is 15.1 hh and carries a lot of muscle. Wolfy is a beautiful dark buckskin and he is homozygous for the black gene as well so he won’t throw a sorrel or yellow based color. Most importantly he has a great disposition and passes it along to his offspring.
Overall he has 113.5 AQHA points in Heading and Heeling. Other awards and accomplishments include 2004 AQHA World Show Qualifier in heading and healing, 2004 amateur Register of Merit, 2004 Open Register of Merit, 2004 Justin Rookie of the Year, 4th Place.
He comes from a strong line of performance horses and has proven himself in both the arena and at the ranch. He passes on his excellent physical characteristics and his outstanding disposition to his sons and daughters, a number of which are currently used in other breeding programs and are very effective ranch and performance horses.
We sadly lost Wolf Creek Red Buck in October of 2012 to colic.
