Horses

We run from 12 - 15 mares and try to produce 6 - 10 high quality colts a year. All of the mares that we raise ourselves are started under saddle and are ridden, and most of the mares we have purchased have also been ridden. Several have had successful performance careers before entering the mare band. We breed to our own stallions and to very selected outside stallions to achieve specific breeding objectives. Our colts all get a lot of hands on attention prior to being started here on the ranch or by a professional trainer.

Cattle

We run a medium sized registered Angus cow and calf operation. We have selected the individuals for our foundation herd from some of the top cows of reputation Angus breeders. We breed for high quality and marketable genetics.

We raise commercial grain crops and, in addition to feed for our cattle operations, we raise and market hay specifically produced for horse operations.

OUR BABIES ARE HERE!

FOALS AND BREEDING

All of our babies for 2010 are on the ground, growing like weeds and having fun playing in the pasture.

We are also done breeding for the 2011 foaling season.
We have bred most of our mares to our own excellent stallion, Wolf Creek Red Buck. We have also carefully chosen three select outside stallions to breed a few of our mares to to make for many exciting prospects in the spring. Check back in a couple of months to see our anticipated foal crop for 2011.
