Hunting & Fishing
The hunting here at the ranch is amazing.
With the recent completion of a significant Ducks Unlimited Project involving the clean-up and restoration of three miles of the South Platte River and turning badly abused pastureland and marginal cropland into a first class upland game habitat, the Hanging H Ranch boasts some of the finest hunting in the country. The ranch is home to a huge variety of game including doves, quail, pheasants, quality White-Tail and Mule Deer, turkeys, several species of geese and ducks, and of course the ever popular coyotes, coons, rabbits and rattlesnakes.

We really DON’T have too many of these darn pests, at least not close to civilization. They get a little close for comfort in the early fall when it is hot and dry. No worries, we all have exceptional “rattler radar”!
