Blazin Blue Bob

We bought Bob at CSU’s Legends of Ranching sale from Thomas Saunders.  He is a super-seasoned all-around ranch horse that will do absolutely anything you ask of him.  We can put absolutely anyone on Bob’s back and he will take care of them, but he can also do ANY ranch job as a seasoned ranch horse.  Bob has seen it all and he is a huge asset to the ranch.

Watch Genuine Red

This gorgeous, light golden palomino is balanced and correct. By Genuine Hombre and out of a Mr Baron Red mare, his initial ground work and training are going well as “Hombre” is bred to ride, moves like an athlete and has an incredible disposition.  He is going to Texas with our farrier for a Chris Cox training clinic in February, 2010.

*Hombre has returned from Texas and the training clinic with Bill and he was a big favorite there.  In fact, one of the trainers there wanted to buy him, but we weren’t ready to part with him before we could get him home and see what he could do.  He is a super quick learner, so willing and has come so far in just his first couple of weeks of training under saddle. 

Spring 2011-Hombre has been ridden now for a little over a year and he is just a super nice, good working ranch horse.

Ms ID Bell

Weston’s mare, sweet little Bell is probably the “cutest” horse on the ranch-and with the sweetest disposition to match.  She is always the first one over for a handful of grain or a pat on the neck. She is smart, quick and super cowy!  Since Weston has gone to college, Bell is with Weston’s uncle and is being risen in the feedlot for awhile.

2006 sorrel gelding-Spook is a super looking son out of our Ms Smokin Jane and Elans Play N It Cool X Elans Playboy. 

He is 3/4 brother to an AQHA World Qualifier, Elans Smokin Gun.  Spook is showing exceptional training ability as he is quiet, very willing to learn and fun to ride.  He is fast becoming one of the favorites of whoever rides him on the ranch.  He is very cowy and has the disposition of a mature horse as he can go everyday or take a month off and work just the same.  Bred to rope and he has all the right bloodlines in his pedigree to be an excellent performance prospect.
