Roanie is one of the most loved horses on the ranch as he is kind, tolerant, observant and will take exceptional care of the rider on his back.
We got him from Tim Tyan, who’s kids put the miles and the experience on him to turn him into the truly seasoned horse he is, he is a finished heading and heeling horse, has been hauled to many jackpots as well as USTRC ropings, and has even run poles and barrels...he’s cowy and will ride to the level of the person on his back.
Kaine has learned to ride on him with the help of his hero, Chris Cox, and he is worth his weight in gold. Many offers have been made on ol’ Roanie Pony, but we are happy to say this guy has earned his special spot at the ranch and we just can’t see him going anywhere.
